FAQ

Questions

Are there icons for physics concepts?

Yes. The science set covers forces, waves, optics, electricity, magnetism and atoms. It also has lab equipment and experiments. Each idea starts from the textbook diagram people already know. Then we cut it down to a few even strokes that read at 16 px. That keeps abstract ideas easy to spot.

Do the icons cover lab equipment?

Yes. Lab equipment, measurement tools, experiments, research and microscopy are all in the set. They suit lab software, stock screens and science lessons. Each item has its own picture. A beaker, a flask and a test tube are three separate icons, so nobody grabs the wrong one from a list.

What if I cannot find the icon I need?

Try another word first. Search looks at names, synonyms and tags across the whole library. If the icon is still missing, ask for it on the contact page. Tell us the word you searched and where you want to use it. We add icons every month, and requests help us pick what to draw next.

Can I use science icons in a commercial project?

Yes, in the free styles. Regular Rounded, Regular Sharp and Solid are open source under MIT, so you can use them in a lab software product, in client work and in products you sell. The other twelve styles are Pro, a subscription with its own terms. Keep the copyright notice with copies of the files.

How do I find the right science icon?

Open the icon browser and search for beaker, microscope or atom. Search checks names, synonyms and tags, so a related word usually finds the same icon. Use the science category to limit results to this field. Only approved icons appear, and we add more every month.
